what a winter...

feel like i 'm living in some kind of alternate reality..after weeks of dealing with snow daily..
some sad family time the last few weeks.. i'm eager to get back to my knitting , scrapbooking and quilting..
not one to just have a solo project on the burner.. i have a baby quilt i want to put together, a few sets of shams to match my grandkids quilts i made last year.. that dreaded sweater i have to finish! and sooo many 1000's of pictures to get into scrapbooks! i did make the concession to not scrap EVERY single Christmas pic for the last five years and broke down and bought a few matching photo albums to organize those pics that don't make it to the scrapbooks..

so what projects are you all working on these days!

again, i'm back and i'll try to do better at updating my blog.. sharing some of my finished projects.
i've put out a new calendar and i'll share that now..

our "learn something new Mondays" - we will learn something new to take back to our scrapbooking projects..

the dates are:  Jan. 31st, Feb. 28th, March 28th, April 18th, May 23rd and June 19th..

times : 6:30 - 9:30.. you can stay and crop after our workshop..

cost: $ 10.00

our crops are set for:

January 22nd - Adult /child - $ 15.00 adult, $ 5.00 child   1- 6pm
February 19th  All Day $ 25.00  10 am - 6 pm
March 5th - All Day  $ 25.00  10 am - 6 pm
April 2nd - All Day  $ 25.00 10 am - 6 pm
May 15th - Sunday afternoon $ 15.00  12 pm - 6 pm
June 26th - Sunday afternoon $ 15.00 12pm - 6pm

i've asked that you notify me by Wednesday if you will be attending the Monday workshops or the weekend crops.  Space is limited so it's first signed up, paid, first to get a space..

Please pre-pay for the crops to save your space..

i hope you all stay dry and warm tomorrow as the snow is a - comin'.. and it's not gonna be pretty..

Come and work on your Xmas Cards. Bring your basic tools

And your own Cardstock or cards and envelopes.

Use of my stamps, inks, chalks, sizzix, punches, etc.

Sample cards available and idea sharing.

I will provide snacks.

Burst Book Class

Tuesday , December 2^nd, 6:30-8:30 pm

Bring basic tools and 10-12 pictures that can be cropped smaller to fit

i'm back!

hi,

for anyone out there actually reading my blog i'm sorry i haven't posted for awhile.. it's been quite busy.. i just got back from another trip to see my family in Florida for a lot of kid events...pre-K and K graduations, last day of school "wet day" , kind of like a pool party w/o the pool.. helping out in my grandson's classroom working on a Father's Day project.. the granddaughter getting her first "traumatic for mom and grammy" haircut, sending the oldest one off to camp via airplane "alone!" , trauma # II, watching swimming lessons, dance recital rehearsal and recital and the list goes on.. Grammy always come back to work to relax!

i'm going to be working on adding things here to catch your interest, so bear with me!

also.. i keep meaning to do this, but haven't organized it yet..
get together with your friends to make a card collection for the various occasions you have coming up during the year.. we all have the supplies, and the tools for making some awesome cards, but when the occasion arises, we don't have the time to sit and come up with a great card.. so if we have them ready, our friends and family will think we are creative geniuses showing off our wonderful skills..

i am also going to organize a Xmas in July cardmaking session.. get the Xmas cards out of the way without the stress of the holiday hustle and bustle!
